Shipping Policy

Processing Time

All orders are prepared and shipped from South Korea. Please allow 3-7 business days for order processing before dispatch. During launch periods, restocks, or holidays, processing may take slightly longer.

Delivery Time

Orders are shipped via EMS (Express Mail Service) with tracking. Typical delivery time is 1-2 weeks from dispatch, depending on the destination country and customs processing. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. KUROKAMI MOTEL is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections, carrier disruptions, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination country and the weight of your package, and are displayed at checkout before payment.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

International shipments may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient. KUROKAMI MOTEL has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Refusal to pay customs fees does not entitle the buyer to a refund.

Address Accuracy & Failed Delivery

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. If a package cannot be delivered due to the buyer's error or inaction - including an incorrect or incomplete address, failure to pick up the package from the carrier or customs office, refusal of delivery, or failure to respond to customs requests - we are unable to offer a refund or free reshipment. If a package is returned to us under these circumstances, reshipment is only possible at the buyer's expense (new shipping fee), and only where the returned package arrives back to us in resalable condition.

Lost or Damaged in Transit

If your tracking shows no movement for an extended period or your package arrives damaged, contact us at hello@kurokami.shop within 7 days so we can assist with a carrier inquiry. Compensation for lost packages is limited to the scope of the carrier's (EMS) indemnity program.

Returns & Refunds

Because our products are produced in small quantities as limited runs, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, sizing expectations, or personal preference.

Defective or Damaged Items

If your item arrives defective or damaged, contact us at hello@kurokami.shop within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging. Verified defects will be resolved with a replacement (subject to stock) or a refund. Claims made after 7 days, or without photo evidence, may not be accepted.

The following are not considered defects:

  • Slight color differences due to monitor settings or photography lighting
  • Minor variations in shape, texture, or finish inherent to handmade and small-batch production
  • Damage caused after delivery, including improper use, moisture, or wear

Failed Delivery

As stated in our Shipping Policy, packages that are undelivered due to the buyer's error (incorrect address, failure to collect, refusal of delivery, or unpaid customs charges) are not eligible for refund or free reshipment.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Original shipping fees are non-refundable, and any return shipping (when we request a return) must use a trackable service. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear after approval, depending on your payment provider.

Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled only before dispatch. Once a tracking number has been issued, the order follows the policies above.

Prices are listed in USD and may change without notice. We make every effort to display accurate product information, but occasional errors in pricing, descriptions, or availability may occur. We reserve the right to cancel any order affected by such errors, with a full refund of the amount paid.

4. Orders & Payment

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We may decline or cancel orders at our discretion, including for payment verification issues. Payment is processed at checkout via the available payment providers.

5. Shipping & Risk of Loss

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy. Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon our delivery of the package to the carrier, except where consumer protection law of the buyer's jurisdiction provides otherwise.

6. Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site - including product designs, illustrations, characters, photographs, text, and the KUROKAMI MOTEL name and logos - is the property of Artifact (KUROKAMI MOTEL) and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. 8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KUROKAMI MOTEL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or our products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
